Where are the socially useful application scenarios for #Bitcoins / #Crypto?

I can only think of 3 and they are rather undesirable:

1) To #pay at illegal marketplaces like #SilkRoad on the #Darknet. 2) On #terror financing. 3) To pay the #ransom for #encryption Trojans.

For everything else, the high transaction costs are not worth it at all.

Strange, I get a lot of money in crypto and do nothing illegal. The idea that only criminals want crypto is dumb propaganda. Even the Silk Road did legal trade and was the basis for a new marketplace that Amazon, Ebay, Ali Express, Yandex etc. are based on. If you wish to trade with someone in the majority of the world (which is outside the west) you should get ready to use crypto because that market is now open to you and your trade has no need to be illegal. A lot of the advances in crypto came from Venezuela and Central Africa where fiat collapsed and you cannot pay for shopping with Bitcoin that takes hours to swap. Now we are getting into a new era with most of the world's economies headed into a trade war and ordinary traders on the side lines needing a new exchange which is why I find half my clients switching to crypto because it is easier than worrying about who you can or cannot send a payment through which exchange.

What about first try to educate yourself on Banking blockage, Wikileaks bypassing banking sanctions, Iran merchants using crypto to pay for containers merch, and not your tiny-scoped "what-about-my-coffe"?...... Wikileaks in 2012 witnessed what it is to have a ban on all sources of payments to fundrise organizations exposing war crimes and government corruption, if you are unaware of that and how bitcoin solved that, you are simply uninformed. Russia had frozen billions of US Dollars by having sanctions where "officialism" says who are the bad guys and who the good ones, (you do not see that same frozen funds happening with war crimilnal Zionist State)..... if you "can only think of 3 and those are some silly narratives already debunked in Monero community, do yourself a big favor and educate better.
